Who is behind this

You should know who wrote what you are reading and what they are actually qualified to tell you. Here is the honest version.

How legal accuracy is handled

I am not a lawyer, so I do not rely on my own judgment for anything legal. Every rule published here is traced to a statute or a licensing agency page, quoted close to the source wording, and linked so you can read the original.

State records are additionally reviewed by licensed attorneys before they carry a reviewer name. A record that has been through that review shows the reviewing attorney on the page. A record that has not shows its sources and verification date only, and says plainly that attorney review is still pending. We would rather show you that difference than hide it.

If you are a licensed DUI attorney and want to review the record for your state, the corrections page explains how to reach us and how we disclose reviewer relationships.

Not a lawyer. Founder of a legal marketing firm working with US law firms since 2013.

I built and maintain this site, its research, and its tools. I am not an attorney and nothing here is legal advice. My job is to make the public record easier to use: every state rule on this site is traced back to a statute or a licensing agency page, dated, and published with the source next to it so you can check my work.
